>> Two police officers have been stabbed in Brussels in a suspected militant attack. According to local media, one officer was knifed in the neck and another in the stomach. The attacker then broke the nose of a third policeman who'd arrived on the scene. Identified as 43-year-old Belgian, Hicham D., he was shot in the leg and taken away by an ambulance.
The police officers wounds are not life threatening. Federal prosecutors say provisional investigations indicate it could be a terrorist attack. Early on Wednesday afternoon the city's Gare du Nord Railway Station was closed for an hour because of a bomb alert. Bomb disposal teams checked the area, and train services went back to normal.
The Belgium capitol is on high alert after suicide attacks at the airport and a subway station in March killed 32 people, claimed by Islamic state.
