>> You guys received the picture. That was video from inside the mall. That was the still photograph that was put out to the media. That is the shooter. We believe it is just one shooter. He was armed with a long gun. We're not giving specifics as far as caliber or type of gun at this point.
>> Police racing to the scene. Many inside the mall fled, others tried to find shelter inside where they could. Distraught family members awaited word from loved ones.>> That's your daughter who was inside the mall?>> Yes.>> And she was working tonight? You heard from her.>> Yes.
>> Tell me that phone call again. What did she say?>> She just said there's people shooting. I heard a gunshot. I told her to just go to the bathroom and lock the door. Just lock the door and I'll be there as soon as I can. And I was on my way here and there was cops everywhere.
I kept having to pull over for the police. And I'm not hearing anything. I don't know if they've even got to her yet. She's not answering her phone. I don't know if it went dead or I don't know.>> Police conducted a floor by floor sweep of the 434,000 square foot mall looking for survivors.
A spokesman for the Washington State Patrol saying, the suspect was last seen walking away from the scene.
