nnnnn , the latest campaign cash numbers handing a clean victory to hillary clinton her forty seven point five million dollars stashed from individual donors show lacking the entire republican field but if you look instead at the money donated by high rollers to the pacs and super pacs that work separate from the official campaign , it's a very different story based on preliminary reports of super pac donations jeb bush blows clinton out of the water with over a hundred million dollars raised to clinton sixty three million reuters editor john whiteside , super pacs can accept unlimited donations , some cases can be millions of dollars from a single donor , so those numbers will dramatically change the shape of the race super pac money also leading candidates far back in the polls suddenly become players look at former texas governor rick perry pulling in the single digits and with just a million dollars raised last quarter throwing his reported super pac money from a handful of wealthy texans and he is solidly in the hunt , just like perry ohio governor john k. sick is pulling at rock bottom and he hasn't even declared his candidacy yet a flood of super pac money is apparently keeping his hopes alive what we may see from the super pacs this time around is a repeat of twenty twelve when newt gingrich and rick santorum were able to stay in the race much longer than you they might have been otherwise because they had , some very rich , single super donors , uh this time around we might see even more that and that could make the primary season even longer and more brutal this time
