Marcio and Andreia Gomes' son Logan, was still born in hospital, just hours after they escaped from their 21st floor flat. Dennis Murphy called his sister, Ann Marie, shortly before he perished in the fire.>> We as a family feel strongly that there is no reason in the world why anyone should have death forced upon them in such and horrific way, and the day Dennis died a part of all of us died too.

>> Charred and gutted, this is all that remains of Grenfell Tower after it was engulfed by flames in the middle of the night on June 14th last year. The public inquiry is expected to go on for many months, and aims to establish the cause of the disaster. But first, fathers, sisters, husbands, relatives of those who lost their lives have been invited to talk about their loved ones.

Aside from the public inquiry, police are also conducting a criminal investigation, which could result in charges against organizations or individuals involved in the construction, maintenance, or refurbishment of the tower.
