>> Actor Morgan Freeman is facing harassment allegations according to a report from CNN Thursday. It says at least eight women have come forward accusing the star of inappropriate behavior or what they call harassment. Now companies who use the Oscars winners voice in advertisements say, they're taking a second look at their relationship with him.
That includes Visa and Canadian bus and rails company, Translink. Reports have also merged that the screen actor's guild is reconsidering the lifetime achievement award they gave the 80-year-old in January. CNN said it spoke to 16 people as part of its investigation, some of whom alleged inappropriate behavior by Freeman and his production company, Revelations Entertainment.
But the network also talked to sources who denied seeing any questionable behavior by the actor and they say he was professional on set and in the office. Reuters' has been unable to independently confirm any of the allegations. In a statement, Freeman apologized to anyone who had felt uncomfortable or disrespected.
Also saying quote, anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy.
