Meanwhile Moscow has always denied any involvement in downing the jet. The Netherlands Safety Board was chosen by five countries to conduct the preliminary investigation. With help from experts from Australia, Belgium, Malaysia and Ukraine. Nearly two-thirds of all the victims were Dutch. Investigators are still focusing on some 100 people suspected of having played a quote, active role, in the incident.
