COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 1

>> US President Donald Trump, on Sunday, doubled down on his support for Roy Moore. The Alabama Senate candidate fending off multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. Trump slammed Moore's opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, in a tweet, saying. The last thing Alabama needs is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on crime, WEAK on the border, bad for our military and great vets, and bad for our second amendment, which is the right to bear arms.
This after Trump, last week, echoed Moore's repeated denials he pursued teenage girls while a district attorney in his 30s, as first reported by the Washington Post.>> Roy Moore denies it. That's all I can say. He denies it.>> Trump's position stands in stark contrast to most other Republicans in Washington, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who have called on Moore to step aside.
>> The women who've come forward are entirely credible.>> But the New York Times says their efforts have not swayed the President, who reportedly sees similarities between the claims against Moore and those made against him in the 2016 campaign. More than a dozen women accused Trump of inappropriate contact or misconduct, many coming after the now-famous Access Hollywood tape circulated, in which he boasted about grabbing women's genitalia.
The Times reporting Trump has recently suggested that that tape was a fake, despite apologizing after its release.>> I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize.>> Meanwhile, Jones, last week, released a political ad against Moore, invoking the words of Trump's own daughter.>> Ivanka Trump says there's a special place in hell for people who prey on children.
>> A total of nine women have accused Moore, a conservative Christian, of inappropriate sexual advances. Reuters has not independently confirmed any of the accusations. The latest RealClear politics poll shows Jones with a razor-thin lead against Moore. A win for Jones would give Democrats a rare victory in the deep South, and narrow the Republican Senate majority to just one seat.
The election is December 12th.
