>> Singer, actor, and one time shaggy-haired heartthrob David Cassidy has died. At 67, the Partridge Family star had been taken into an intensive care after suffering organ failure. His death was confirmed by his publicist on Tuesday.>> Can I get a few words, please, for your English fans?

>> A few words? A one a two, a one two three.>> A household name for his portrayal of Keith Partridge, the lead singer of his TV family's band, Cassidy's boyish good looks made him a 1970s idol. Sparking his own follow-up albums and global tours, despite an image that was more bubblegum pop than serious musician.

Cassidy continued to perform onstage and in bit TV rolls through much of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, including a 2011 appearance on Celebrity Apprentice. But he struggled throughout the years with debt, and alcohol abuse and was arrested several times for drunk driving. Two year ago, Cassidy filed for bankruptcy and put his 7000 square foot Florida home for auction, including this painting of him singing to his family.

Earlier this year he announce he was battling dementia and stop touring to focus on his health. Cassidy is survived by his two children.>> Might find some places tonight,
