>> Black smoke billowing from the fuselage of a passenger jet followed by a massive fire ball. The terrifying scene unfolding Wednesday and captured on amateur video after an Emirates plane made a hard landing in Dubai from India. One airport rescue worker was killed, 14 people were hospitalized. But all 300 passengers and crew aboard the airplane survived.
>> There were one fatality, it is actually one of the firefighters, a man at Dubai International Airport. But nothing from the people who are on board that aircraft from a passenger and also from the cockpit and cabin crews.>> But the incident brought the world's busiest airport to a standstill.
Passengers said they were told there was a problem with the landing gear. Shortly after the plane touch downed the cabin began to fill with smoke. Crew ordered the passengers to use the emergency exits.>> They opened the evacuation doors.>> Did you have to go down the slide?
>> Yeah.>> You took

Safety experts say it was still too early to pinpoint any cause for the crash, an investigation is underway. Emirates flight 521 took off from Thiruvanantapuram. And landed in Dubai with 282 passengers and 18 crew on board.
Wednesday's crash a blow to the carrier, a few weeks after it was voted the world's top airline at the Farnborough Air Show.
