>> You're murderers, you're murderers.>> You're murderers.>> Protestors venting frustrations overnight in Chicago after police released yet another video, showing the moments before cops shot dead an unarmed black teenager.
e car nearly hits one officer and police open fire on the moving vehicle, then they chased 18-year old Paul O'Neal as he runs away.
An autopsy showed O'Neal died of a gunshot wound to the back. But the footage does not show the fatal shot even though the officer who pulled the trigger was wearing a body camera. Investigators say they are looking into the reason why the camera was not switched on. In one of two protests Friday night, this small, peaceful yet loud crowd staging a die-in outside of Chicago police headquarters.
They are particularly upset about the missing footage, accusing Chicago's top brass of trying to cover up for their own. Relations between Chicago PD and the city's Black residents were already toxic after police released video showing the 2014 shooting of Laquan McDonald. Another unarmed black man who was killed by police while walking away from officers.
The cop fired 16 times and that video wasn't released until a year later. This time, the video was quickly made public just eight days after O'Neal's death. That's little comfort to demonstrators however who question if he had to die at all.>> That was.>> That was.>> Your son.
