refighters still struggling to battle a deadly wildfire that has raged on for over ten days in Northern California. The Soberanes fire near the Big Sur coast destroying over 50 homes and threatening 2,000 more structures.>> Your heart just goes out for the people that have their homes here, you just hope they're safe.
>> The blaze eating up some 40,000 acres and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of residents and campers. >> The fire took a deadly turn last week when a bulldozer operator battling the flames was killed when his tractor ruled over. Extremely hot dry weather is still hampering the effort to some 5,000 fire fighters 16 helicopters and half a dozen air tankers
