Reuters Richard Lowe has been examining the past of Petitjean's accomplice, Adel Kermiche.>> His mother spoke to Swiss people last year, she was talking about the radicalization process that he went through. She put the trigger down to the militant attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January.
She said that after this time he became obsessed, the word she used in fact bewitched by hardline ideology. After which he talked increasingly about Islam, about the affront on the Muslim faith by the West and increasingly of the desire to go to Syria.>> Paris prosecutor saying both men are being held in custody while investigators try to determine their connection with the two attackers.
