COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 3

>> What we know so far.>> Miami police announcing Thursday an investigation into a police shooting of a black therapist caught on video. Cell phone footage from the shooting, which took place on Monday, captures the exchange between Charles Kinsey and Miami police moments before Kinsey is shot.>> He has a toy truck.
I am a behavior tech at the group home. That's all it is.>> In the video, Kinsey is seen explaining to police that the man next to him, with the white toy truck in his hand, is an autistic man he cares for, who ran away from a nearby group home.
Officers were dispatched to the scene after reports of an armed male suspect threatening suicide. At some point, an officer discharges his weapon, striking Kinsey three times in the leg. No firearm was found on Kinsey, who survived the shooting. Speaking from his hospital bed, Kinsey gave his account of what happened next.
>> They cuffed my hands, and they flipped me over. And I'm just laying, I'm laying on the concrete like this right here. I'm bleeding.>> An officer has been placed on administrative leave, in a press conference Thursday, officials voicing the shock.>> But this is not supposed to be happening in North Miami.
I mean, North Miami is a city where the police officers and the community gel. So all of the police officers that we work with, we know them, we trust them. So today, this is like a nightmare to me.>> This latest incident comes after a string of deadly violence between police and African Americans.
