>> After the triple triple, the double double. Mo Farah on Saturday joining the ranks of all time great distance runners. The Britain winning the 5,000 meters to add to his 10,000 meter crown. Winning both a repeat of his feat at the London Olympics in 2012. That took Britain's tally of gold medals to 27, keeping it ahead of China in the race to second spot in the overall medal table.
No doubt who's coming top of that table though, US athletes again scooping up the Golds on Saturday. Their women winning the four by four 100 relay for the sixth straight games. The US men also winning their relay regaining the title after a shock defeat to the Bahamas in 2012.
That took America's collection of athletics Golds to 13, well ahead of the six for second place Jamaica. Just a handful of events left now before the closing ceremony on Sunday evening. After that, the countdown begins to Tokyo 2020.
