>> Showing their support for the Houthis, Yemen is divided and 16 months into a civil war, but there was little doubt on Saturday regarding who dominates Sana'a, the capital and a stronghold of the Shiite Houthi movement. The vast crowds turning out to back a governing council formed this month of Houthis and members of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh's party.
The two allies have withstood thousands of airstrikes by a Saudi led coalition which backs a government in exile. A shaky truce broke down this month with strikes resuming and just this week hitting a hospital run by Médecins Sans Frontières killing 19 people.
