>> Kenya is still king of the steeplechase. Conseslus Kipruto storming into victory in Rio on Wednesday, and setting a new Olympic record in the men's 3,000 meters event. His win continues Kenya's over-20-year domination of the sport. Giving chase, American Evan Jager, who took silver, a rare medal in the event for team USA.
But the American's grabbed all three medals in the women's 100 meters hurdles, led by Brianna Rollins. The event's first ever Olympic podium sweep. And on the basketball court, it looks like the dream team is back in control, crushing Argentina in quarter finals with a 105-78 win. A roaring comeback after three unimpressive wins in group play.
And China's completely cleaned up the competition in table tennis. Their men's team defeating Japan, three to one in the final, scoring the country every single table tennis title in Rio.
