His comments come after opposition lawmakers filed impeachment raps on Thursday. The first under Duterte's eight month presidency. In that time, the controversial leader has been linked to alleged extrajudicial killings of thousands of suspected drug addicts, under his ongoing anti-narcotics campaign. Police report more than 2,000 people have been killed in anti-drug police operations.
And around 4,000 gunned down by unknown vigilantes. Duterte's government has repeatedly denied involvement in any illegal killings.
