Bill Paxton, his four decades of roles ranging from Showtime's Big Love to the Blockbuster, Titanic. Passing away after complications from surgery, his family said in a statement Sunday.
Just hours before the film industry's biggest night, the Oscars. Paxton himself, no stranger to fanfare. The star of Aliens, seen here in 1999 at the 20th anniversary of its precursor, Alien.>> I saw this movie in New York City, summer of 1979. I was a waiter at the Landmark Tavern.
And it's one of those movies where there's a lot of audience participation. Don't go in there! He's right behind you! And if somebody would've told me then, you were gonna be in the sequel, I would've said, you're full of it.>> Other mega hits include Apollo 13, co-star Tom Hanks tweeting Sunday, Bill Paxton was simply a wonderful man.
And Twister, with leading lady Helen Hunt posting this picture of the two, adding he made this movie great. Paxton's most recent work, the current CBS series Training Day. Four episodes have aired, Paxton had already filmed the remaining nine. CBS saying it is shocked and saddened by his passing.
