>> President Trump's pick for Secretary of the Navy Phillip Bilden is the second nominee to withdraw his name for consideration to lead one of the biggest armed services. Bilden saying in a statement quote, after an extensive process, I have determined that I will not be able to satisfy the Office of Government Ethics requirements without undue disruption and materially adverse divestment of my family's private financial interests.
Earlier this month, Trump's army secretary pick Vincent Viola withdrew also because of business ties. Bilden's withdrawal leaves Trump and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis without nominees to head both the Navy and Army. Mattis said on Sunday he would make a recommendation to President Trump in the coming days for a nominee to lead the Navy and Marine Corps.
