>> Actress Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, is in critical condition after suffering a heart attack on a plane Friday. That, according to her younger brother Todd Fisher, who says she's at an intensive care unit of an L.A hospital. He was driving to pick up their mother, veteran actress Debbie Reynolds, when he spoke to Reuters.
Fisher was on a flight back to L.A from London and was rushed to a hospital after landing. Audio from the pilot before landing was released Saturday, although the patient isn't identified by name.>> We've coordinated medical personnel for the gate. We have some passengers, nurses that are assisting the passengers, the unresponsive passenger.
>> Twitter messages posted by other passengers on the flight saying Fisher had fallen ill, with one saying she had stopped breathing. The 60 year old was an England shooting the third season of the British television comedy Catastrophe.
