>> Britain's Queen Elizabeth made her first public appearance in weeks on Sunday as she recovered from a Christmas cold. Wearing royal blue, the Queen arrived to Church service in Sandringham in a burgundy Bentley with her husband Prince Phillip. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joining them shortly after.
The 90 year old monarch fell ill during the festive season and took the very rare decision to miss Christmas and New Year church services. She hasn't been seen in public since. Now, apparently on the mend, she's resuming official duties. A spokeswoman said she gave an honor to remember her staff in a private ceremony last week.
