>> Let's be legendary. Those words uttered by Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson to his teammates just moments before the perennial underdogs staged a stunning upset against Alabama to clinch the College Football Championship. Down by three points with roughly two minutes left in the game, against an Alabama program that got the better of them in last year's championship.
Watson drove the Tigers down the field on nine plays, with teammates Jordan Leggett and Mike Williams making athletic catches along the way. Then his team within the ten yard line with two seconds left to go, Watson connected with Hunter Renfrow in the end zone for the 35 to 31 win.
Mayhem ensuing for elated Clemson fans, exuberant to see the tide turn after a 35 year drought since the Tigers had won their last National Championship.
