>> The Pentagon confirming Saturday that Chinese authorities have agreed to return the underwater US military drone seized in the South China Sea. The incident flaring tensions between the US and China in the hotly contested waters of the South China Sea, after the Chinese vessel picked up the drone, which the US said was conducting research.
Seizing on this tension, President-elect Donald Trump in a misspelled tweet early Saturday called the incident, quote, unpresidented. China's defense ministry said earlier that they had been in touch with the US to quote, appropriately handle the situation. But what they called the US's hyping up of the incident wouldn't help resolve the matter.
Trump's tweet follows days of provocations from the President-elect, in which he's taken to Twitter to criticize China and question the US's one China policy.
