>> President Trump, Saturday, weighing in on a turbulent day of news. Hailing the passage of the Senate's massive tax bill, while grappling with the possible fallout of a guilty plea from Michael Flynn.>> It was a fantastic evening last night. We passed the largest tax cuts in the history of our country and many other things along with it, tremendous tax reform.

>> But Trump not allowed to bask in the glow of those long sought after Republican tax cuts. Questions about the role Russia played in his win of the White House continue to cast a shadow over his presidency. In his first public comments since his former national security advisor and campaign confidant Michael Flynn not only pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, but also announced his cooperation with special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian election interference, Trump tried to brush all that aside.

>> Are you concerned what Michael Flynn might tell the Special Counsel?>> No, I'm not, and what has been shown is no collusion, no collusion. There's been absolutely no collusion, so we're very happy. We'll see what happens, thank you all very much.>> He later expanded on this on Twitter writing, quote, I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.

He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame, because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!
