n people have died in Volgograd, one of Russia's World Cup host cities, after their river cruise collided with a tugboat late on Monday. That's according to local officials and media who said 16 people or Russian citizens were on board when the vessels collided on the Volga River.
Five were reportedly rescued, with three now in hospital. One person is unaccounted for. The search operation is under way. Volgograd will play host to opening World Cup matches involving teams including England, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Japan.
