]>> Former NBA star, Dennis Rodman, says he'll be traveling to Singapore to support next week's planned summit between North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un and US president, Donald Trump. His role, if any at the talks, is unclear. But he knows Kim better than most Americans.
The pair has spent time together in the past dining, watching sports, and posing for photos to demonstrate their friendship. Rodman posted on Twitter, quote, I'm honored to call POTUS a friend. He's one of the best negotiators of all time, and I'm looking forward to him adding to this historic success at the Singapore Summit.
When asked whether Rodman was invited to Singapore, Trump had this to say.>> No, he wasn't, but I like Dennis. A great rebounder. What do you think, Dennis was a great rebounder and he wasn't, relatively speaking, that tall. So that tells you, there's a rebounding, there's a genius for that.
>> The Singapore trip, like Rodman's 2017 trip to North Korea is sponsored by PotCoin, the cryptocurrency for the legal marijuana industry. He told reporters last year he was just trying to open the door.>> Just open the door, that's it.>> He may well be trying to help open it a little further next week.
