>> A stubborn wildfire in Colorado continues to grow, prompting new evacuations. An additional 220 homes were evacuated Saturday as crews tried to contain the wildfire near Durango.>> Within 20 minutes our life was turned upside down of you're okay to you're not okay, and you need to leave now.
>> Elizabeth Layton is one of more than 1,300 homeowners who have been evacuated. Fire fighters are bracing for conditions to get worse because of strong winds and hot, dry weather. So far, more than 9,000 acres have been scorched. Last year, a near record 10 million acres were burned at US wildfires, mostly in western states, because of a deepening drought.
