McCain, now facing a general election fight for his sixth term in the Senate.>> Republicans must be willing to put forward smart, common sense, effective policies. We must be able to resist from a position of strength, ideas coming from the next White House, whoever occupies it that would take the country in the wrong track.
>> McCain needs to convince moderates and independents who might be turned off by Trump's rhetoric not to stay at home on election day, which could hand the Senate race to the Democrats. In Florida, Marco Rubio also trounced his Republican opponent, a Trump-styled, brash, self-funding millionaire. Rubio changed his mind about running for the Florida race for the Senate, after losing the Republican nomination for the White House.
He too faces a tough fight against a Democratic opponent in the general election, U.S. Representative Patrick Murphy, also in Florida, but across the aisle, Debbie Wasserman Schultz still facing fire for a hack e-mails showing a biased towards Hillary Clinton, in her role of the Chair of Democratic National Committee, beat back a challenge of Bernie Sanders supporter, Whilst Michelle's fighting for her eighth term in the house.
