>> A bag bomb in a New Jersey beach town triggering an investigation by the FBI and other federal agencies. Police say the explosive device detonated inside a plastic garbage can Saturday morning in Seaside Park. The boardwalk evacuated, bomb sniffing dogs sent into the area. No one was injured in the blast.
Media reports say other devices were found un-exploded in the same trash can. The bomb went off hours before a five kilometer run benefiting members of the US armed services was set to pass through the area. An attack on the Boston Marathon in 2013 killed 3 and injured more than 200.
The explosion in New Jersey Saturday also bringing in agents from the department of homeland security and the bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and explosives.
