>> This hostel in Townsville, Northern Australia is where British backpacker Mia Ayliffe-Chung was killed in a knife attack last week. Now, the man who tried to save her has also died. 30 year old British traveler Thomas Jackson was admitted to a Queensland hospital in a critical condition. He was stabbed in the face, head and body trying to protect Ayliffe-Chung.
Australian police have arrested a French man, and say he'll be charged with two counts of murder. He reportedly shouted Allahu akbar during the attack, but so far there's no evidence to suggest that he'd been politically motivated or radicalized.
