>> From New York to Maine, a wicked winter storm is pounding the US northeast for the second time in less than a week. It was a nightmare commute in New Jersey. 500 motorists were stuck on Route 280 as they tried to get home Wednesday night. Wooster Massachusetts was also hit hard.
Cars struggle to stay on the road.>> I'm just leaving work and I'm just trying to get up the hill but I can't.
In New York City the powerful Nor-ester kept trains and buses running on limited service.>> So they cancel the buses, now I came from bus terminal to over here, now I'm shut, train is also canceled to.
I don't know how to go home.>> The wet heavy snow brought down trees and power lines leaving hundreds of thousands without power. At least one person has died in the storm, an 88 year old woman in upstate New York was killed by a falling tree.
