Outdoor signage, social media sites, even its french fry boxes, all rebranded with Ws for women.
While some found it heartwarming.>> All mothers deserve more than Mother's Day and a birthday as a tribute. Others were quick to call out the stunt. Twitter rebranding it, McFeminism. One user joking that, McDonald's should just its dollar menu to 78 cents. With many arguing the fast food chain should pay its female and male employees a fairer wage.
And in a year that launch the MeToo and Time's Up movement, a sideways art was also suggested standing for equality.
