>> Authorities are responding to an active shooter situation at a Veterans home in Napa Valley, California. Police responded to the Yountville Veterans home, Friday morning, after receiving reports of shots fired and a possible hostage situation. Local media is reporting a man wearing body armor and armed with an automatic weapon entered the home and is holding at least three people hostage.
The facility was placed on lockdown as officers and SWAT teams responded to the incident. The center is the largest veterans residence community in the US and is home to about 1,000 veterans, according to its website. Yountville is about 50 miles northeast of San Francisco.
