>> Relief for Russia on Wednesday, as the International Olympic Committee confirmed it had reinstated the country. It made the decision after remaining doping tests of Russian athletes at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics all came back negative. Russia's Olympics Committee was suspended by the IOC in December after they were found to participate in, quote, unprecedented systematic manipulation of the anti-doping system.
Russia has always denied any state involvement in the practice, saying on Wednesday the right decision had been made.>>
> A group of 168 Russians competed as part of a neutral Olympic athlete from Russia team. But two of them failed drug tests. All the athletes had been required to prove they were clean before the games.
