My name is Mark Barden. I'm a father of three children, the youngest of whom was shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Daniel was seven years old in his first grade classroom. So we have the tools. We can do it now. And here it is, the STOP School Violence Act, is now here.

And it would provide funding for schools to train their students in these programs, for threat assessment programs, for a national, anonymous reporting system. Kids can report tips.>> I don't think this is the only answer, but this is one of the answers that will help provide better security and a better chance as far as our kids to live in a safer environment.
