>> Further rattling nerves in a nation already on edge after a string of deadly shootings, two bailiffs killed and a deputy sheriff wounded Monday afternoon after an inmate opened fire at a courthouse in southwest Michigan. The Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph, a few hours from Detroit, put on lock down after the gunman on his way to jail snatched a gun from an officer and started shooting according to authorities.
The county sheriff confirming that the suspect was killed in the shootout, Sheriff Paul Bailey.>> He then shot a civilian in the arm and was taken down, by two other bailiffs that came to render aid, along with several other officers.>> The Sheriff said the others injured in the incident are in stable condition.
