]>> Multiple suicide bombings rocking Saudi Arabia, Monday. The latest hitting close to the Prophet Mosque in Medina, leaving at least three dead, including the bomber. According to Saudi owned Al-Arabia television, that's the second holiest site in Islam. The blast followed others in Qatif and Jeddah on Monday, the last day of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan.
Two explosions shook the Eastern Saudi Arabia city of Katif and witnesses said body parts believed to be that of an attacker could be seen in the area of the blast. An attack in Jedda in the early hours of the US Independence Day holiday, appearing to target foreigners for the first time in years, was outside a US Consulate.
Two security guards were injured but the attacker was the only person who died. The attacks followed days of mass killings claimed by the Islamic state group in Turkey, Bangladesh and Iraq.
