COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 3

>> Hello, and Happy Thanksgiving.>> President Trump turned a traditionally festive call with US service members into a political one Thursday. Discussing topics like his trade policies, border security, and criticism of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, speaking to reporters after that call wrapped up. Trump warned there could be a government shutdown next month with a potential showdown in Congress over funding for Trump's proposed border wall.
The wall is just a part of border security, very important part, probably the most important part. But could there be a shutdown? There certainly could, and it will be about border security, of which the wall if a part.>> With hundreds of Central American migrants recently traveling towards the US border to seek asylum, Trump has called their movement an invasion that threatens national security.
>> That's an invasion.>> And said Thursday, he had authorized the military to use lethal force on the border if necessary.>> I've give the okay, yeah, if they have to. I hope they don't have to, but you're dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals. So I'm not gonna let the military be taken advantage of, I have no choice.
Do I want that to happen? Absolutely not, but you're dealing with rough people.>> And he didn't stop there, the President also threatened to shutdown the entire border with Mexico for a period of time.>> And that means that Mexico is not gonna be able to sell their cars into the United States until it's open.
>> Trump has issued ultimatums about wall funding before with little tangible impact.
