>> The destruction and desperation intensifying in California Sunday, where hot, dry, so called devil winds, are fueling two giant deadly wildfires at opposite ends of the state. Northeast of Sacramento, the ferocious Camp Fire has killed at least 23 people, with more than 100 missing. California governor, Jerry Brown, has requested a Major Disaster declaration from President Trump.

Who, on Twitter Sunday, called for proper forest management to stop the devastation. Since igniting,Thursday, the wildfire has destroyed more than 67,000 homes and businesses, in the town of Paradise. The most ever on record in California history. The flames came so fast, many residents were forced to abandon their vehicles and run for their lives, down the only road out of town.

Hundreds of miles south, near the wealthy ocean side community of Malibu, at least two people died from the Woolsey fire which doubled in size from Friday night into Sunday.>> Things are not the way they were 10 years ago.

The rate of spread is exponentially more than it used to be. Please heed evacuation warnings. Do not stay in your homes to try and defend them.>> Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for a quarter million people. Among them, celebrities like Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian. And with wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour in the Los Angeles area, firefighters cannot yet say when they expect to fully contain the blaze.
