armed robbers may have made off with at least two point three million dollars after storming a plane at an airport in Albania on Tuesday but not before the heist went awry and one of their own was killed in a police pursuit , media reports suggest for people have also been arrested and the some stolen may actually be much higher details are scarce but witnesses say three masked gunmen appeared on the tarmac and ordered workers on to the ground the perpetrators gained access to the cash by smashing through an entrance used by fire services according to authorities a gun battle then ensued with police as they attempted to escape in a vehicle which is one one of them was killed it's not yet clear if the people arrested include the same gunmen the plane in Austrian airlines flight was full of passengers banks routinely ship cash through here bound for Vienna and this is not the first time it's been targeted Austrian airlines says that after this incident they will stop moving all cash through this particular airport
