thank you for everything you have done for them Louise turban broke down in tears at her sentencing hearing Friday as she heard testimony from her children she and her husband David received a sentence of twenty five years to life in prison after pleading guilty to charges of having starved and shackled there thirteen children in the family's home my parents took my whole life for me but now I'm taking my life back the crimes were discovered in January twenty eighteen when one of the amazing the children escaped from the riverside county California home through a window and called nine one one deputies who raided the residents found the girls twelve brothers and sisters ranging from age two to twenty nine trapped inside the darkened foul smelling house some of them chain to beds I hope that they never lose their faith as part of the plea deal the turbines will spend the rest of their lives in prison unless granted parole after a minimum of twenty five years behind bars
