it's a Wall Street the Dow S. and P. five hundred and the nasdaq eat set record closing highs on Friday stocks are continuing to run up on growing hopes the federal reserve will deliver its first rate cut in ten years when policy makers gather around the table at the end of July the focus on Wall Street now turns to earning season says rodas markets correspondent Chuck McGill %HESITATION Jack next week we do get our first taste of the earnings season will see some of the banks like city JP Morgan we also see a little bit of the fangs Netflix's did report on the seventeenth so we're gonna get a good look at how much say traders started to affect earnings a little bit but at the same time the market's kinda aware of this we know that the earnings season is going to be that great %HESITATION rescinded investments right now or call for a decline of zero point four percent for the quarter so we'll see usually they tend to come come up as the season goes along investors will also be looking at the data after placing figures released Friday were seen as providing even more support for rate cuts producer prices barely moved the needle in June resulting in the smallest annual rise in inflation of roughly two and a half years with Wall Street putting the odds of a quarter point rate cut at one hundred percent the big question for the market is whether that will be enough with the fed be more aggressive and go for a half point cut at the July meeting
