>> Cesar Sayoc, accused of mailing 14 pipe bombs to Democrats and prominent Trump critics was ordered held without bond in a Miami court room on Monday. The 56 year old Brooklyn born man is charged with five felony counts. Court observers say Sayoc appeared to be emotional before the hearing began.
His case is expected to be moved to New York where he will be prosecuted. Sayoc was taken into custody in South Florida Friday, after a four day nationwide manhunt. Sayoc allegedly sent homemade pipe bombs to Trump critics including former President Barack Obama and Trump's Democratic election rival Hillary Clinton.
Shortly before Sayoc's court appearance, a similar package was intercepted en route to CNN's world wide headquarters in Atlanta. Sayoc's alleged crimes have heightened tensions ahead of the November, 6th, midterm elections in which Democrats are battling to seize control of Congress. Sayoc faces his next hearing on Friday in Miami.
