COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 1

>> With smiles and selfies US President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to US troops at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq on Wednesday, his first trip to a conflict zone nearly two years into his presidency.>> We came to Al Asad to share our internal gratitude for everything you do to keep America safe, strong, and free.
>> The surprise trip came days after the President announced a pull out of American troops from Syria, a draw down of soldiers from Afghanistan, and the departure of Defense Secretary, James Mattis. In Iraq, about 5,200 US troops are training and advising local forces who are still fighting Islamic state, who's territory Trump described as nearly eliminated.
>> Two years ago when I became president they were a very dominant group. They were very dominant. Today they're not so dominant anymore.>>
>> His critics, however, have said that the fight is far from over, and their withdrawal leaves allies in the lurch. Trump later assured reporters he has no plans to pull troops from Iraq.
>> Thank you.
