COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 3

>> I'm in this fight all the way.>> Senator Elizabeth Warren took the first step toward a 2020 presidential run on Monday.>> I'm launching an exploratory committee for president.>> The progressive fire brand is the most prominent democrat yet to step up in the contest to defeat Donald Trump.
We will not allow a small, insecure, thin-skinned, wannabe tyrant or his allies in the Senate to destroy the rule of law in the United States of America.>> From a struggling family in Oklahoma to Harvard Law Professor, To crusading opponent of Wall Street, Warren enters what will likely be a crowded contest with her brand already in place.
Reuters political correspondent James Oliphant.>> Well, Warren has been a critic of Wall Street and big banks and financial institutions for a long time. It's what propelled her into the public eye,>> Before anybody had heard of her, President Obama called on her to help him create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which came out of the Wall Street crash of oh-seven and oh-eight, and out of the Dodd-Frank bill that regulated large financial institutions.
Obama was looking for someone who was an expert at sort of like reigning in Wall Street, reigning in the big banks. And that was Warren's background.>> As a law professor and ever since as she has become a public figure, that has been at the heart of her message.
And, and that's not my question, my question is about responsibility. In one of her most heated exchanges with a big bank, Warren>> Warren in 2016 told Wells Fargo CEO, John Stumpf, he should resign over his quote gutless leadership after the bank created millions of fake accounts in an effort to boost sales.
>> And you should be Be criminally investigated.>> Her stridance stands toward financial investigation has made her a terget for some REpublicans.>> Warren has been demonized by Republicans, pretty much ever since she showed up on the radar screen. They basically see her as a foe of capitalism.
In their mind she believes in over regulation. That she would reign in the big banks too much and she would>> Restrain the American economy.>> And she also faces criticism from her own party.>> Some don't see her as electable. Others don't see her as somebody who, if you want to use the term likeable.
That's something that haunted Hillary Clinton in 2016, fair or unfair. Somebody who may not have the warmest public persona. That's something that she's worked very hard on.>> Pocahontas->> President Donald Trump has a derrogatory name for the Massachusetts Democrat. He's repeatedly mocked Warren over her claim to Native American ancestry, even going as so far as promising to donate $1 million to her favorite charity if she took a DNA test.
In October Warren took the DNA test, which supported her claims. Trump greeted her results with a shrug, saying, quote, who cares? Warren announced in a video Monday that she was forming an exploratory committee. Which will allow her to begin raising money over the next 13 months before the 2020 Iowa Caucuses.
