French police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse the yellow vest protests in Paris on Saturday as they turned violent again off two weeks of relative calm and declining numbers , but with more than one thousand five hundred quote ultraviolent people out looking for trouble numbers will put about ten thousand in total the weekly protests peaked in December when Paris so some of its west looting and vandalism in decades micro offered a package of concessions and boosting the income of the poorest workers and pensioners , his government also ordered police to crackdown prompting complaints of police brutality micro launched a series of national debates to involve ordinary citizens in informing government policy , Saturday's protests coincide with the end of those debates
