Hassan Rouhani claims the current administration in Washington is the most hostile the Islamic republic has faced in its four decades, with quote, the worst gathered around each other.
Tensions have ramped up between Iran and America, that after Trump withdrew from a multilateral agreement on Iran's nuclear program back in May.>> What's their goal? I'll say the final goal now. Reducing the legitimacy of the system is their final goal.>> Washington reintroduced steps against Iran's currency trade, metals and auto sectors in August. US curbs on Iran's oil exports are set to come into force next month. Some Iranians fear their country's entering an economic slump that may prove worse than the last time it faced major sanctions from 2012 to 2015.
But their vice president was quick to play down the impending impact, according to the republic's broadcaster.
