these women and making history , six well one thing sets me apart from every other team in Hong Kong the dynamos old Filipino maids the main challenges for us is the time to train because we only have one day off a week I want to integrate are you know the Filipino helper community or old represent the domestic helper us part of Hong Kong part of the community and we don't want to feel excluded , when word racing , live in hope is as some of the poorest workers in the city most of my goodness in Southeast Asia who and now the main breadwinners for their families back home with salary starting at around five hundred US dollars a month there's little spare cash to spend on that one day off , most races are held on Sundays during the dynamos a taste of local competition , the motor is one of this region's major paas times it's even a public holiday dedicated to celebrating this ancient sport it's a chance for teams of experts fishermen in all the locals all come together , three hundred and fifty meters the lead in price to the finish line to the beat of a drum , in the end the chance to compete is enough of a reason to celebrate , they still get to finish the day on the podium with other teams celebrating their accomplishments , they hope next season more at the city's hopeless will join and enjoy the tradition alongside everyone else even if just for the day
