Mexican officials are set to meet with vice president Mike pence Wednesday with the goal of convincing US officials they're doing enough on migration to avoid punitive tariffs Mexico should step up and stop this onslaught this invasion into our country the talks come as the trump administration staves off of full blown revolt from the G. O. P. with top Republican Mitch McConnell warning the White House may not have their backing well there is job not much support in my conference for terror of that for sure most of us hope that these terms will not %HESITATION kicker according to reports some Republicans are considering blocking the terrace with a veto proof majority but during a news conference in London trump issued a warning well I don't think they will do that I think if they did it's foolish president trump escalated his battle to control the tide of migrants entering the US by threatening to punish Mexico with the five percent tariff on all imports beginning next week a threat he double down on Tuesday but I think it's more likely that the terrorists go on and will probably be talking during the time that the tariffs are on and they're going to be paid Mexico's foreign minister who's leading the Mexican delegation has said terrorists would devastate Mexico's economy and wouldn't stop the waves of migrants entering the US the delegation is expected to show US officials the steps it's taking to stem the flow of migrants with Mexico detaining double the number per day then it was a year ago
