S. census I think when you have a sensors and you're not allowed to talk about whether or not somebody's a citizen or not that doesn't sound so good to make justice department delivered the news in a letter to the Democrat controlled house oversight committee the decision not to comply with committee chairmen Elijah Cummings request set off fireworks and of a vote to hold Attorney General William Barr and commerce secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with the subpoena over the census question and although we have limited information about this being , we've been blocked from full we determining the real reason , the administration sought to add the citizenship question I don't want to issue a subpoena nobody wants to be in a position where you have to issue a subpoena of an administration official because we are a co equal branch of government and it should be expected that when we ask a question we get a response but when we don't we have to do our job Democrats are outraged at the White House is continued attempts to block the multiple investigations of the president we have it clearly established constitutional parameters or the executive branch Republican committee members insisted the administration is cooperating with Congress on the census question and this and Democrats sure , lawsuits have already been filed to stop the citizenship question rushing from even showing up
